AFL: Bernie Vince has imposed his physicality against the Swans and might come under scrutiny for this bump on Luke Parker.

ESSENDON has a giant task ahead of it as it hosts GWS at Eitihad Stadium in the twilight fixture.

A depleted Dons outfit is in the midst of a 10-match winless streak, while the Giants’ easy run home starting today means this win could set them up for a potential minor premiership.

Matt Dea was a late out for Essendon, replaced by Jason Ashby. The Giants are unchanged.

EARLIER, Sydney cruised to a commanding victory over Melbourne in wet conditions at the SCG.

The Swans led throughout the entire afternoon in difficult weather, ultimately winning by 55 points against a lacklustre Demons outfit.

Lance Franklin kicked four goals for Sydney, while Luke Parker laid an incredible 17 tackles to go with 23 disposals.

The Swans proved themselves as footy’s tackling kings in the win, with the most in recorded VFL/AFL history (155) and the largest tackling differential ever as well (+66).

Sunday’s Round 13 AFL fixtures (All times AEST):

Sydney v Melbourne at the SCG (1.10pm)

Essendon v GWS Giants at Etihad Stadium (4.40pm)
