NRL: Phil Gould caused quite a stir when he criticised the New South Wales leadership group for being selfish.
Now he’s getting support from Wayne Bennett – who couldn’t resist the chance to tee off on the under siege Blues.
THE Panthers will retain the services of Josh Mansour until at least the end of 2018 after the Origin winger signed a new deal with the club.
“It is wonderful to have Josh on board for another two seasons and to be honest I hope he’s here for the rest of his playing career,” said Panthers general manager Phil Gould.
“Josh has been fantastic for our club and is one of the most popular individuals with our players and members.”
Mansour had been linked with a move to the Roosters but will instead remain with the club who gave him his first grade debut in 2012.
He has played 77 NRL matches for the club, scoring 39 tries, as well as four Tests for Australia and two matches for New South Wales.
