Meanwhile Nick Kyrgios hiccuped but got past Radek Stepanek in four sets.
Wimbledon 2016 Day 2
2253 hrs IST: Meanwhile play has been suspended on all outside courts. Just Coco Vandeweghe vs Kateryna Bondarenko up next on centre court.
2252 hrs IST: Wozniacki’s forehand sails long on Kuznetsova’s serve and she wins 7-5, 6-4.
2247 hrs IST: Superb service hold by Wozniacki. Almost a fresh player now but still has to break the Kuznetsova serve to prolong this set and maybe, just maybe, take it into the third. Not that we’re getting ahead of ourselves!
2246 hrs IST: Three unforced errors and a double fault later, Wozniacki breaks serve! It is 5-3 now. Dane still with a serve to break and hers to hold!
2244 hrs IST: And Woz holds serve. Kuznetsova to serve for the match at 5-2 in the second
2241 hrs IST: But she brings it back to 30-30 after two errors by the Russian.

2218 hrs IST: Svetlana Kuznetsova races to the net and whips across a volley to seal the set 7-5.
2213 hrs IST: Meanwhile Kuznetsova has a crucial break of serve in the 11th game. She will serve for first set vs Wozniacki

2200 hrs IST: Weather update, the heavy rain is expected to last an hour with more showers expected later.
2156 hrs IST: Wozniacki continues to struggle on her serve. 18/29 on the first serve but she’s somehow getting the job done. Holds once again to go up 4-3.
2153 hrs IST: From the press room,
Serena: “I’d be lying if I said I feel fresh, but I don’t feel fatigue. I feel real hungry, super motivated, extremely ready to do the best”
