AN inaccurate Adelaide side is trying to hold on against North Melbourne with the margin just six points heading into the final term.

The Crows have kicked 8.18 to the Roos’ 9.7 suggesting a bigger lead would more accurately reflect the contest, but the visitors have been impressive for patches.

The home side took an 18-point lead into quarter-time after Rory Atkins appeared to kick the opening goal, but a late score review saw it overturned due to what appeared to be a bent finger from a Roos defender.

But with similar evidence provided for North Melbourne’s first goal kicked by Jack Ziebell, and players lining up believing the ball had been touched, the call of a goal was not overturned.

The Roos made a late change, omitting Majak Daw for Robin Nahas with wet conditions likely to blame for the switch.

North Melbourne took the points in Round 1’s clash between these two teams, winning by 10 points at Etihad Stadium.
